Yeovil Town Ladies next home match will be played at Huish Park, when they take on former Women’s Super League one side and fellow promotion chasing team Everton Ladies on Sunday 13th September.
Off the back of a successful event in July which saw 722 fans watch the Lady Glovers beat Millwall Lionesses one nil, Huish Park will now play host to the Blue Girls who currently sit in fourth place and just three points behind Yeovil Town Ladies, with two games in hand.
With promotion still on for Yeovil Town Ladies, the squad will be focussed firstly on their away trip to Durham this weekend. Jamie Sherwood’s team will then be hoping for another bumper crowd in a game which could decide promotion hopes for both of the teams on display.
Everton, who share and play their home games with Liverpool at the Select Stadium in Widnes, were relegated from Women’s Super League one last season, but have a host of young internationals in their squad. And it was because of the England International call ups, that the scheduled game against the Lady Glovers in July was originally postponed by the Blue Girls.
The game which kicks off at 2.00pm, will also play host to a 2 course pre-match carvery costing £9.50, with tickets kept the same at £4.00 adults and £2.50 concessions.
