Lois Roche struck her second goal of the season against the Bees on Saturday as the Royals win by 3-0. Influential midfielder Roche struck the opener from a 20 yard free kick for the Royals on 11 minutes.
Manager, Kelly Chambers, changed the team around for this match, with Mel Fletcher making her first appearance of the season following an injury lay off, and Georgie Giddings was drafted in as well, showing the depth of the squad which Chambers has at her disposal.
Roche then turned provider as she played in a corner which saw Helen Ward ghost in and head home to extend the Royals lead on 36 minutes.
The Royals were not happy with two and they continued to probe as Giddings had a long range effort which fizzed past the post, along with efforts from Nikki Watts, Mel Fletcher, Rachel Rowe and Laura May Walkley.
The Bees did have chances and their best effort of the half came from Amber Gaylor, but Grace Moloney was more than a match for the shot.
The second half saw the introduction of Emma Follis, Charlie Estcourt and Bianca Bragg for the Royals and it was Bragg who sealed the fictory on 84 minutes with a long range volley that beat Harris at her far post, this after a disallowed goal from Nia Jones.
