Surrey Storm Netball recorded their second straight Netball London Live victory tonight with a 55-42 win over Hertfordshire Mavericks at London’s Copper Box Arena.
Coach Tamsin Greenway’s side took an early lead over their Superleague rivals only for Mavericks to pull back and hold a 28-all draw at half time.
A confident 3rd quarter handed a 5 goal lead for the hosts which was converted to a match win on the final whistle with Storm coming on top 55-42.
A record-breaking UK domestic crowd of 6033 were in attendance for the win, which sees Storm stay 2nd in the Netball Superleague table.
