In their final game of the first round of the Dubai Sevens England beat Canada by 17 – 12. England were 17 – 5 with just a minute to go before a late try from Canada but it was not enough and England ran out winners. England’s try scorers were: Alice Richardson, Natasha Hunt and Captain Abi Chamberlain with a conversion from Alice Richardson. England qualify top of their pool and move comfortably into the quarter finals.
