Disney Festivals – Volunteer Opportunities

Following the success of last year’s International Netball Festival at Disneyland Paris England Netball has extended its partnership with the travel company Sport Experiences and committed to delivering an enhanced programme of events at Disneyland Paris. These events provide England Netball with the ability to generate a commercial return, attract new participants to the sport and deliver a first class netball festival. Disneyland Paris:

This year England Netball are running 3 festivals, because of the popularity and demand of these events. These festivals are for junior U12, U14 and U16 teams. The format of the festival will involve tournament pool matches on Day 1, coaching sessions on Day 2 and tournament placing matches on Day 3 along with an awards evening.

All staff will be given a full day off on one of the days and provided with a free pass to visit the parks!

The dates of the festivals are:

Sunday 29th March – Thursday 2nd April (Travel on Sunday and Thursday)

Wednesday 8th – Sunday 12th April (Travel on Wednesday and Sunday)

Sunday 25th – Thursday 29th October (Travel on Sunday and Thursday)

Travel, accommodation and meals will be provided.

The roles required for these festivals are as follow:

Umpire – Responsible for officiating the pool games and finals during the tournament.

Umpire/Coach – One day of umpiring and one day assisting the Elite coach during the netball master class sessions.

Event Organiser – Responsible for overseeing the event and creating a fun atmosphere for all involved.
