An inspired Mary Earps helped Bristol Academy make it two wins out of two in the FA WSL Continental Tyres Cup as they saw off local rivals Yeovil Town 3-0 in front of a Jones Stadium record crowd of 522.
Three minutes later, Yeovil came close to equalising as Sarah Wiltshire narrowly failed to connect with an Annie Heatherson cross.
In the 24th minute, the visitors doubled their advantage when Weir curled home a free-kick from 30-yards.
On the half hour mark, ex-Bristol Academy player Helen Bleazard threatened with a free-kick that was turned behind for a corner by Bristol keeper Mary Earps.
In the 62nd minute, Sarah Wiltshire rattled the cross bar for the Glovers with a left-footed strike from 25-yards.
Two minutes later, Passariello looked to have bagged a third for the Vixens – but her effort was ruled out for offside.
On 70 minutes, Heatherson came close to netting against her former club as she connected with a cross from Wiltshire – only to be denied by the reflexes of Earps. And the Vixens increased their lead in the 78th minute when Christie Murray slotted home following good work by Angharad James.
