Harlequins Women have confirmed that Spanish international captain Laura ‘Bimba’ Delgado has renewed with the Club ahead of the 25/26 season.
Delgado has been a huge presence within the Quins setup since arriving in 2024. She made 15 appearances in the Quarters in her debut season, as Harlequins made a return to the play-offs for the first time since 2022 and her experience has proved invaluable within the group, both on and off the field.
Head Coach Ross Chisholm is excited to have retained the services of Delgado ahead of the new season.
“Bimba has been a brilliant character to have around the squad. She has so much experience at Club level and International level and has been such a positive influence within the group. Her excitement for the game is infectious.
“With her work ethic and superb set-piece work, she has become a really important member of the group and I’m looking forward to seeing her continue to demonstrate that again next season.”
Delgado is similarly thrilled to be continuing her stay in TW2, as the squad continues to develop and grow.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be able to help continue building our history at Harlequins. This team has grown so much, and we still have so much to show. I want to be a part of that and I’m excited for the next season.”
With thanks to Harlequins
