England Netball U17 squad revealed

Roses Pathway Head Coach Sonia Mkoloma has selected a squad of 12 athletes who will represent England at the Europe Netball U17 Event 2025. 

from 5-9 March, will see England’s U17 squad compete against Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the UAE. The opening three days of the tournament will feature group stage matches, before placings are decided on the final two days. tournament, hosted by Northern Ireland

England’s U17 squad won the competition in 2024, in a tournament that saw the side go unbeaten throughout. Looking to continue this success, Roses Pathway Head Coach Sonia Mkoloma has picked a squad of 12 athletes and three reserves for the competition. Among the squad are four players who return to the Europe Netball U17 Event after competing at the tournament in 2024, Sascha Dale, Shannon Mahlik, Neve Wright and Gracie Smith. The squad will be led by captain Shannon Mahlik, with Sascha Dale as vice-captain.

Roses Pathway Head Coach Sonia Mkoloma commented: “I am excited for the announcement of the 12-strong squad who have been selected to represent England at the U17 Europe Netball Event. For many of our players it will be their first time putting on the red dress, and hopefully it won’t be their last.

“Europe Netball has always been a great opportunity for players to showcase their talents and all the hard work they have put in. I know that they will be supported by our England Netball family, who I’m sure will wish them all the best of luck.”
