Harlequins have announced the arrival of Lauren Fisher ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Fisher joins Harlequins from DMP Sharks, where she has played her rugby whilst attending Durham University. The talented fullback has also represented England at U18s level.

Growing up, Fisher played her rugby at Pulborough RFC alongside fellow Quins Izzy Mayhew and the Robinson sisters. Her performances at Pulborough earnt her a place in Harlequins’ Centre of Excellence pathway, before departing to attend university in 2021.

Commenting on her signing, Lauren Fisher said: “Having supported Quins my whole life it’s really special for me to have signed for the Club. To be surrounded by such brilliant players and coaches provides me with such a great opportunity to develop as a player both on and off the pitch. I’m really excited for the season ahead and can’t wait to get started.”

Harlequins Head Coach Amy Turner said: “Lauren is a really exciting player who we’re pleased to have back here at Quins. She’s a versatile back who has a strong understanding of the game and a great skillset to back that up. We’re excited to see how she develops as part of this squad over the season.”
