Rugby World Cup 2021 has today announced SkyCity Entertainment Group as an Official Sponsor with 100 days to go until kick-off.
Auckland’s iconic Sky Tower will light up tonight (Thursday 30 June) to mark the countdown to the pinnacle global event in women’s 15s rugby and what is the first time it has been staged in the Southern Hemisphere.

SkyCity will host the official opening ceremony event to welcome the 12 competing teams and officials upon arrival in Aotearoa New Zealand, in addition to supporting in tournament with experiential activations, accommodation and event hosting.

Individual tickets to Rugby World Cup 2021 are on sale today, offering fans worldwide the chance to see the best in women’s rugby for some of the most affordable prices in the tournament’s history. Tickets start from just $5 for kids and $10 for adults, providing access to all games played on a single triple or double-header match day.
Rugby World Cup 2021 is targeting a world record attendance for opening match day at Eden Park on 8 October where the Black Ferns will take on Australia as part of a triple-header featuring South Africa versus France and Fiji versus England. Eden Park will then create history by becoming the first stadium to host both the men’s and women’s Rugby World Cup finals on Saturday 12 November.
