Harlequins Women Head Coach Gerard Mullen has named his matchday 23 to take on Wasps Women at Big Game 13 in the first ever Allianz Premier 15s match to take place at Twickenham Stadium.
There are just two changes to the starting XV that defeated local rivals Saracens at StoneX Stadium last time out. The first change is enforced after flanker Emily Robinson picked up a foot injury in North West London. Robinson is replaced on the blindside by young England capped international Amelia Harper. The other replacement comes on the wing as speedster Jess Breach returns after three months on the side-lines following a back injury.
Full back Ellie Kildunne is set to feature against her old club for the first time since joining Harlequins in the Summer. Kildunne is part of a star-studded Quins back line as Lucy Packer, Rachael Burford, Lagi Tuima and Heather Cowell all retain their places in the starting XV following a historic victory over Saracens a fortnight ago.
Ahead of the clash at Twickenham Stadium, Gerard Mullen said: “Everyone is massively excited for Big Game 13. We’re all looking forward to being involved in what will be one of the biggest matches in Premier 15s history. With BT Sport also showing the game live it’s amazing to see the attention the games are now getting, and the players fully deserve it.
“We are fully aware how tough the game against Wasps will be as they currently sit fourth in the table, but I’m confident that we will be fully prepared and ready to put on a show for all our fans that will be at Twickenham on the 27th or at home cheering us on.”
