Harlequins Women Head Coach Gerard Mullen has named his matchday squad to face Wasps Ladies this Saturday at The Twickenham Stoop in the semi-final of the 2020/21 Allianz Premier 15s.
There are just three changes to the side that were victorious over DMP Durham Sharks last time out as Vickii Cornborough, Leanne Riley and Ellie Green all return to the starting XV.
It will be a special day for both captain Rachael Burford and Ellie Green as they are both set to reach 50 caps for the club in front of returning fans at The Stoop.
Emily Robinson and Heather Cowell are named amongst the game changers after both suffering injury setbacks earlier on in the league season.
After a successful week away with GB 7’s Emily Scott finds herself slotting straight back into the side at fullback.
Head Coach Gerard Mullen understands the magnitude of Saturday’s game but is confident in his side’s ability.
“Saturday’s game is big no doubt. It’s probably this biggest game of our season so far and if we don’t win, we won’t have the opportunity to achieve our main aim of winning this year’s title.
“We’ve had many variables to deal with over the last few weeks, so we’ve been preparing hard to make sure we’re all on the same hymn sheet heading into our semi-final this Saturday.
“The squad is looking fit and healthy so full credit to our medical department who have done a great job on that front”
