Richard Wigglesworth, the Leicester and England scrum-half, is able to play this weekend because of a ruling change. He had been red-carded, but it has been decided that a week where a game has been cancelled due to Covid-19 will count towards the duration of the penalty.
The Allianz Premier 15s currently has two players in a similar position: Shaunagh Brown (Quins) 3 weeks; and Patricia Garcia (Exeter) 5 weeks.
Can we hope that the authorities concerned will come to the same judgement? It seems like natural justice in hard times.
