After a tough trip to Wasps last weekend, and a strong performance that perhaps didn’t get the results it merited, Richmond welcome Harlequins for just their third home game of the campaign.
Head coach Jonathan Griffin has opted to stick with the majority of the side who pushed Wasps all the way, with just one change in the pack and one in the backs. The front five remains unchanged, with the front row continuing to impress, and the second row pairing of Ro Burnfield and Fiona McIntosh developing nicely. In the back row, meanwhile, Becky Ball and Libby Povey start alongside the returning Anna Caplice.
The international duo of Welsh nine Jade Knight and English ten Abi Chamberlain continue at half backs, while it’s Jade Wong and captain Vicki Jackson in the centres. The back three sees Jess Wooden make her first home start at full back, while Rachel Laqeretabua is joined by Alicia McComish, who recently got called up to Wales for the first time, on the wing.
