As part of their preparations for the Netball World Cup, England will be on the road in July as they visit four Netball Superleague sides.
Each franchise will be hosting warm-up matches that will be open to the public as the England team show their support to the Netball Superleague and give fans across the country a chance to watch them in action ahead of the big event this summer.
Four fixtures will be played in a one week period as the conditions of a World Cup are replicated. England will play in front of the home crowds of Team Northumbria, Celtic Dragons, Yorkshire Jets and Surrey Storm.
Looking ahead to England on the road, head coach Tracey Neville said “This is a fantastic chance to experience the intense playing conditions we will face at the World Cup. It’s amazing to be able to take the team to play in front of some fantastic Superleague crowds that perhaps wouldn’t usually be able to watch England in action. That sense of giving something back to our loyal fans is really important to us.”
This is a concept that we will be hoping to build upon in the future as the England squad look to visit all eight of the NSL franchises and perform to the wonderful netball following we have throughout the land.
