FIFA Women’s World Rankings: Top Ten
Mark Sampson’s side completed a perfect campaign on Wednesday with a 10-0 win over Montenegro and moved up a place in the rankings, released today.
They topped their qualifying group with ten victories from ten matches – scoring 52 goals along the way – to secure a place at next summer’s World Cup Finals tournament in Canada.
England also beat fifth-ranked Sweden 4-0 in an international friendly at Hartlepool in August.
Their next match is against number-two ranked Germany at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 23 November. It is the first time England Women will have played at the new Wembley and tickets for the historic match are on sale now.
Tickets can be purchased via TheFA.com or by calling 0844 826 2010. Early bird adults tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £1 for children.
