Vitality Blast women T20 – league two   – match 9

  • +1

Kent (Horses) vs Gloucestershire (match 9, league two -‘stand-alone’ fixture) at Canterbury, St Lawrence Ground (Kent) on 31 May 2026

Gloucs women chalked-up their highest t20 total score this season – also highest team score for league-two, second only to last year’s record set by Middx (201/1 vs Gloucs. on June 22, 2025.) Ameile Munday  [75 runs( from 40 balls)] made top-score for Gloucs women, that included with a towering ’six’ to chalk-up her maiden ‘fifty’ (‘List A’) from just 26 balls. Their score was boosted by Georgina Start’s entertaining cameo with consecutive sixes.  Best Horses bowler was Hannah Hardwick (Hants loan) who took 2/38 and when batting, scored two ’sixes’ to narrow-the-gap. In-form batter Coco Streets – pictured 66(48) made top-score when Horses replied, setting a ’solid start’ partnered by Amy Gordon 29(23.) Horses’ run-chase was foiled by tighter bowling and effective fielding with fewer gaps to find the boundary. Weather: cloudy but as elsewhere ‘fairly dry,’ 17C.
