Vitality Blast women T20 – league two  – match 11

  • +1

Vitality, Sussex Sharks (women) vs Glamorgan (women) (match 11, league two -‘stand-alone’ fixture) at The 1st Central County Ground, Hove on 31 May 2026

Glamorgan women chalked-up their third Vitality Blast t20 win (to date), leaving Sharks women with much ‘work to do,’ for their first win. Batting first, after losing two ‘power-play’ wickets, Mollie Adams [80 runs(from 59 balls)] partnered by Shristi Pati 28(22) banked 73 runs for Sharks’ third wicket. Best Glamorgan women’s bowler was Gemma Porter 3/22(4.) Glamorgam women replied convincingly, skipper Lauren Parfitt – pictured 37(34) staging a century second-wicket partnership with Bethan Ellis. Unusually, both batters combined scores were less than their partnership total because of gifted ‘wides.’ Separately, since Glamorgan women cruised home to win by eight wickets, Daisy Mullan who top-scored for Glamorgan during last years t20 clash (63*not out on 27 June 2025), did not need to bat. Weather: cloudy but as elsewhere ‘fairly dry,’ 17C.
