Top three highest scorers for the first three rounds of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy 2022

* Georgia Elwiss (Vipers) 115 runs from 115 balls with 9 ‘fours’ and one ’six’; strike rate 100

* Kathryn Bryce (Lightning & Scotland) 109* (133) with 15 ‘fours;’ strike rate 81.95

* Sophie Luff (Storm) 100* (142) with 10 ‘fours;’ strike rate 70.42

Top 3 run-getters (total runs scored – raw average unadjusted for ‘not outs’)

Sparks skipper Eve Jones totalled 174 runs from three matches. Jones averaged 58.00 with a strike rate of 63.97; scoring a total of 16 ‘fours.’

Playing for Vipers, also on loan to Lightning, Emily Windsor comes close-second with 164, averaging 54.6 at a higher strike rate (94.25); scoring two more ‘fours.’

Storm’s skipper Sophie Luff comes third scoring 148 runs, averaging 49.3 at a lower strike rate (62.97); with nineteen ‘fours.’

Best Batting Average (scoring at least 25 runs)

Best three batters all had at least one ‘not out’ score. Emily Windsor has the best batting average after three rounds with an average of 82. With top score of 90, Windsor came close to bagging her second ’fifty’ (47 not out.) Second-placed Sophie Luff averaged 74; and third-placed Kathryn Bryce averaged 67.50

Best Strike Rate (scoring at least 25 runs in one innings)

In her first season, Vipers’ Freya Kemp has the best strike-rate to date in a single match striking 40 runs from 23 balls (173.91). Storm’s Katie George came close second striking 74 runs from 43 balls (strike rate 172.09); for an unlikely third-round win. Viper’s Danni Wyatt came third, striking 36 runs from 24 balls (strike rate 150.00); before England call-up.
