*’Stars’ were 81/2 at mid-way (8.1 runs-per-over) and 136/3 at the 100-ball benchmark (16.4 overs)
*’Vipers’ were 57/5 at midway; 104/6 after 100 balls and tailed-off as their required run-rate rose and more wickets fell.
*’Vipers’ made a slower start, when Alice Capsey’s second over dismissed both openers in 4 balls.
*Skipper Georgia Adams was caught by Kirstie White and Tara Norris was caught by Alice Davidson-Richards.
*Bowling the 5th over, Alice Davidson-Richards’ 1st ball dismissed Paige Scholfield, caught by Aylish Cranstone.
*Vipers lost two more wickets by midway, needing 111 runs from 50 balls.
*Once Georgia Elwiss was out during the 15th over, ‘Stars’ looked certain of victory as the required-run-rate exceeded 7 runs-per-over
