The Black Ferns have arrived in Auckland and begin their preparations ahead of their first home Test match against Australia at Go Media Stadium on Saturday, August 22.
Prop Mo’omo’oga Palu and halfback Tara Turner are unavailable for selection this week due to injury. Palu sustained a concussion, while Turner strained her hamstring during Friday afternoon’s match against the Black Ferns XV. (Which the Black Ferns won 62 – 19.)
Capped Black Ferns Pip Love (loosehead prop) and Ariana Bayler (halfback) have joined the squad as injury cover for the week in Auckland.
