Durham Women FC have announced a new long-term partnership with hummel – who will become the club’s new Technical Kit Partner.
From the 2025/26 season onwards, hummel will supply playing and training kit throughout the club, while there will also be new retail lines for supporters available during the upcoming Barclays Women’s Super League 2 campaign.
As part of the partnership, Durham will also have the opportunity to produce bespoke and unique playing kits from the 2026/27 season.
The agreement sees the club return to working with the high-profile sportswear brand, who previously provided Durham’s playing kits from their inception in 2007 up until 2023.
Founded in 1923, hummel are one of the most established teamwear providers worldwide and have partnerships with elite sporting organisations across the globe.
Many of the club’s most memorable and historic moments have come while wearing the iconic hummel chevrons, and a number of these moments will be highlighted as part of our ongoing ‘Back to our Roots’ campaign which will run throughout the 2025/26 season – shedding a new light on stories at the club and within our playing squad.
Commenting on the new partnership agreement, Lee Sanders of Durham Women FC said: “We are delighted to be re-igniting our long-term partnership with hummel.
“We feel it’s a brand that really aligns with the club, our values and what we are looking to achieve moving forward with the design and ethos of our new stadium and training centre.
“But most of all, this brand is synonymous with the history of this football club and now we look forward to writing the next chapter with them.”
hummel COO Regina Kane added: “hummel is proud to be back alongside Durham Women FC.
“The club’s growth, ambition and community focus align with our own heritage and values, and we’re excited to supply bespoke performance and lifestyle ranges that will take the Durham Women into the next chapter.”
With thanks to Durham Women FC
