Quins v Gloucester-Hartpury

Preview Big Match
Twickenham Stadium

The game completes Round Six. We’re exactly a third of the way through the regular season.

Amy Turner has made five changes to the side that lost to Chiefs three weeks ago. There are welcome returns from injury for Connie Powell and Lucy Packer.

Sean Lynn makes three changes to the side that beat Chiefs. Put those two Chiefs stats side by side, and you see the challenge that faces the hosts. They have won one game this season.

G-H have completed only three games thus far, so Lynn is a distance short of knowing his very strongest side. Still, this one is good enough to see three Red Roses consigned to the bench. They lie fourth in the table, Quins eighth.

This is Quins’ fifteenth Big Match, their attempt to really put the women’s game on the map. They are hoping to set a new record for attendance at a women’s club match. It forms part of a double- header, the women playing first.
