Harlequins Head Coach Amy Turner has named her squad to take on Exeter Chiefs Women in the fourth round of The Allianz PWR at The Stoop.
Italian international Silvia Turani returns to the front-row, accompanied by Hannah Sims and Babalwa Latsha, who once again start at loosehead and tighthead respectively. Sarah Bonar and Kaitlan Leaney will continue their partnership at second-row for the fourth consecutive game.
In the back-row, Aseza Hele picks up her first start and joined by the experienced Shaunagh Brown and Abbie Fleming, who faces her former club for the first time since joining Quins in the summer.
In the backs, Flo Robinson and Bella McKenzie continue at fly-half and scrum-half. Rachael Burford and Lagi Tuima will once again provide international experience in the centres. Having been named in the PWR team of the week, Ellie Kildunne starts at 15, whilst Beth Wilcock returns to the Starting XV on one wing with Emily Scott on the other.
Red Roses Connie Powell and Bryony Cleall are named as Impact Players, and Ireland international Ciara Cooney is expected to debut this weekend following her arrival from Gloucester-Hartpury this summer.
Head Coach Amy Turner said “We’ve had a couple of disappointing results against Sale and Saracens, but we’re improving week on week and are targeting a complete performance this weekend.
“Exeter bring a strong all round game, and it’s always a physical battle against them. They’re going to be keen to rebuild momentum having had their game last week cancelled, so it’s important we don’t give them anything and impose our game on them early.”
