Premiership Women’s Rugby can today announce a significant new broadcast partnership to show Allianz Premiership Women’s Rugby exclusively in the U.S. and Canada on The Rugby Network (TRN), an over-the-top (OTT) platform owned by Major League Rugby (MLR).
Allianz Premiership Women’s Rugby kicks off on 18 November on TRN for U.S. and Canadian viewers with the Bristol Bears and Sale Sharks live from Ashton Gate. TRN will air a minimum of 21 games this season, including both the semi-finals and final.
Belinda Moore, the CEO of Premiership Women’s Rugby said: “A new era for women’s rugby in England kicked off this summer with the launch of Premiership Women’s Rugby so to be able to confirm 21 of our games per season will be broadcast live in America and Canada is a huge boost for the growth of women’s sport.
“The competition’s new look and feel is designed to be powerful, dynamic, and eye-catching. It aims to capture the excitement and high energy of the league, the players, the fans, and the sport as a whole.
“Our league is English at its core, but we have a cosmopolitan player base with several significant US Eagles at our clubs including US captain Kate Zackary who has recently moved to the Trailfinders Women.”

The Allianz Premiership Women’s Rugby launched in July 2023, replacing the previous Premier 15s and ushering in a new era for women’s rugby in England. The league operates in partnership with the Rugby Football Union and its clubs, seeking to execute a 10-year strategy to grow the game for women in England.
The Rugby Network is the exclusive U.S. streaming home of MLR and Gallagher Premiership Rugby, as well as international matches, collegiate rugby matches, highlight programs and various analysis and commentary offerings.
