Harlequins have announced that that back Jade Mullen has returned to the Club ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The versatile back who joined Quins in 2018, made 30 appearances for the Club before departing last year. Mullen is a potent attacker capable of covering a number of positions across the back line, but is typically deployed in the midfield.
On top of her rugby career at Quins, Mullen is currently serving in the British Army and captained their Women’s Rugby side to victory in the 2022 and 2023 Inter Services Championships.
Head Coach Amy Turner said: “Jade is a great character and we’re thrilled to have her back with us at Quins. She’s a natural leader who is capable of covering several positions across our backline. She leads by example and really sets the standard, something she’s slotted straight back into in training.”
Commenting on her return, Mullen said: “I’m grateful to be a part of this squad, it’s always an honour to wear the Quarters. I’m looking forward to helping the team out this season, as well as continuing to develop my game.”
With thanks to Harlequins
