Durham Women unveil 2022/23 home kit

  • +1

Durham Women have revealed their 2022/23 home kit – as the club’s long-standing partnership with Vision for Education continues to grow.

The well-established, market-leading education recruitment agency will once again see their logo proudly displayed on the front of the club’s home shirt throughout the new Barclays Women’s Championship campaign.

It extends a partnership that began back in 2014, and is now one of the longest-running shirt sponsorships at the elite level of English football.

Durham Women and Vision for Education have worked in partnership since then, and last season saw the two organisations deliver a number of exciting initiatives to engage and motivate students in the area – including players delivering motivational assemblies in schools, and 50 pupils being sent to Wembley Stadium for a special trip to the Vitality Women’s FA Cup Final.

And the launch of the new home shirt kicks-off another year of the partnership, which is set to go from strength-to-strength in the 2022/23 season.

Technical teamwear partners Hummel have once again produced the kits, which are an eye-catching and modern take on the club’s traditional blue and white colours.

Vision for Education’s CEO Liam Roberts is delighted to see the firm’s logo on the shirt once again.

“We’re delighted to be on this special journey with Durham Women FC for another season,” he said.

“Having watched the team grow each year, we’re incredibly proud to continue our partnership.

“As we have for the last eight years, we’ll be working closely again to help raise the profile of the women’s game in the north east, while continuing to create opportunities for our young people to participate and feel part of something so special.”

Durham Women’s Lee Sanders was equally overjoyed to see the partnership with Vision for Education continue to flourish.

“Vision for Education have become a key part of the makeup of this football club, and are now synonymous with our blue home kit.

“The backing from Liam Roberts and the company over the years has been fantastic and continues to develop.

“On behalf of everyone at the club, we thank him and Vision for Education for their support.”

Durham will wear the shirt for the first time in a competitive fixture in their season opener against Sunderland on August 21 – with tickets for that game on sale now at durhamwfc.ticketco.events.

We will update supporters in due course on how and when they can purchase a 2022/23 home shirt.
