Kelly Simmons, Director of the Women’s Professional Game, said: “The Barclays Women’s Championship continues to go from strength-to-strength and this season is likely to be the biggest ever off the back of the UEFA Women’s EURO.
“What makes the Women’s Championship so special is how competitive it is, with every team capable of beating each other, and I have no doubt that promotion and relegation will go right down to the wire.
“I’m delighted to welcome Barclays on our journey with the league, as we look to make the Women’s Championship even stronger moving forward.”
Once again, selected Barclays Women’s Championship matches will be streamed live throughout the season on The FA Player, while match highlights will be available the following day for those matches not streamed.
