Harlequins Women Head Coach Gerard Mullen has made two changes to the Starting XV ahead of this weekend’s rescheduled Round 10 fixture against Worcester Warriors Women.
The Quins forward pack remains the same with Sarah Beckett once again starting in the second row alongside Rosie Galligan. Young forward Amelia Harper retains her spot in the number eight jersey, while Bethan Dainton remains at openside flanker and Elle Bloor on the blindside.
Following an injury last time out, Jess Breach is replaced on the wing by Izzy Mayhew. Ellie Green starts her first game since the beginning of November at fly-half following injury problems after the Allianz Cup run.
Ahead of the important clash, Mullen said: “We say it every week, but there’s no easy game in the Allianz Premier 15s and this weekend’s game is no different. You just have to look at their previous two results to see how competitive Worcester have been recently.
“They’ve pushed both Saracens and Bristol Bears right to the wire and I expect them to be in the fight from the first minute until the last. If we focus on ourselves and play the standard of rugby I know we can, then I’m confident we can secure the victory and start gaining some winning momentum going forward.”
