Shark week take two- DMP Durham Sharks come to Twyford Avenue

After last week’s bonus point win against Sale Sharks, Wasps are on another Shark hunt this weekend as they welcome DMP Durham Sharks into their waters at Twyford Avenue.

Last week Sale Sharks found themselves in deep water after a red card left them fighting a player down. Kerr, Monaghan and Nye all made it across the line to contribute to Wasps’ victory.

With the return of her 7s contingent, Mather has named some changes to her team this week including the return of Wilson Hardy, Burton, Boatman and Stone.

In the forwards, Evans and Afilaka move off the bench to start alongside Moloney who returns to the forwards. Monaghan and Burnfield form the second row and Burton returns to the pack at eight alongside Molloy and Searcy.

Nye and Williams remain as your nine, ten combination with Boatman joining Wong on the wing. WIlson Hardy returns to the centers alongside ROwland with Williams completing the starting line up at fullback.

Balogun returns from injury alongside Kerr, Muir, Mcmahon and Farrow as forwards replacements. Stone completes the matchday squad as the back replacement.

After last week’s successful shark attack, Wasps are hoping to secure another bonus point win before the Christmas break and return to Allianz Premier 15s for Big Game 13.
