Harlequins have confirmed that the kick-off time of Harlequins Women vs Wasps on December 27 has been moved from 13:00 to 14:15.
The change in kick-off time comes as a result of extensive discussion with the RFU and broadcaster, BT Sport to support the delivery of the biggest event in world club rugby.

The change in kick-off time means that the Harlequins Women’s match will now be broadcast on BT Sport – this is another first for Women’s rugby and supporting the fact that Big Game 13 will see the first-ever Allianz Premier 15s match to be played at the Home of Rugby, Twickenham stadium. This will potentially be the highest attended Women’s club rugby match in history.

The shortening of the event day also supports our local families and children, in particular, in being able to attend both matches. This will be further aided by a series of activations across the day, bringing to life the event theme of Fire & Ice, including an ice sculpture park, lots of flames and pyrotechnics and a full day of entertainment in the stadium and West Fan Village. The change of kick-off time has taken careful planning and support from the RFU and stakeholders who are all fully behind the idea of using Big Game 13 to showcase the pinnacle of Women’s club rugby.
