Harlequins Women have announced that scrum-half Lucy Packer has re-signed with the Club as the 2021/22 Allianz Premier 15s season edges closer.
The young scrum-half will be looking to kick on with her Harlequins career after being called up to the England Summer Training squad just a few months ago.
Despite being just 21 years old, Packer has a wealth of experience under her belt already, featuring 40 times for the South West London side and will be looking to run out in the Famous Quarters many more times this season as the Club look to retain their Allianz Premier 15s title.
After re-signing for Quins, Packer said: “I’m excited to have re-signed with Harlequins and am really looking forward to this season. I think this will be a big year for Harlequins and Women’s rugby so I can’t wait to start playing again.”
Head Coach Gerard Mullen added: “I’m over the moon that Lucy has re-signed with the Club! Lucy is a great person to have around and is someone who works extremely hard every day.
“She is immensely talented, and I’m not surprised to see her included in the England training squad. I strongly believe that Lucy has the potential to be on that plane to New Zealand representing the Red Roses at the next World Cup.”
