Harlequins Women have announced that both Emily Robinson and Ellie Green have re-signed with the Club ahead of the 2021/22 Allianz Premier 15s season.

It’s been a breakthrough season to remember for the 20-year-old flanker as Robinson found herself included in England’s Six Nations squad earlier this year.

The young forward is thrilled to have re-signed with Harlequins ahead of the new season and can’t wait to get going once again.

Robinson said: “I’m really excited to be staying here at Quins for the 2021/22 Allianz Premier 15s season. The environment, coaching and players have massively contributed to my development and after an important season for myself and the Club, I’m looking forward to all the new challenges ahead of the new league season.”

Fly-half Ellie Green re-signs the Club after spending the previous four seasons in South West London, making 50 appearances in the Famous Quarters.

Upon re-signing with the Club, Green said: “I’m super excited to get the new season underway and pick up where we left off. Harlequins are super supportive and there is no better place to continue my rugby this coming season. Catch you at the Stoop!”

After both players put pen to paper, Head Coach Gerard Mullen added: “Emily Robinson is a player with a big future, playing numerous games for Quins last season as well as being involved in England camps. She is incredibly professional in the way she goes about her business and we’re delighted that she has re-signed with Harlequins going forward.

“Ellie is a great player and someone who has been at the Club for a number of years and is another person who is dedicated and driven to be the best possible player she can be. I feel that Harlequins can develop her into an England international and I love working with her every week to develop her game further.”
