The ECB is in earnest discussion with South Africa about adding a test match to the schedule. Hooray!

Several Australian players have dropped out over Covid-19 concerns, but not all of them. They have been quick to bolster the squads, bringing in both overseas and home-grown players.
This will be a blow to promoters, spectators and the media. Marginally less so for any bowlers or batters concerned about their personal performances, but they set that against losing the chance of getting the better of the world’s best.
According to hypocaust that leaves us with 8 Australian and South African players, 5 India, 2 West Indies and 1 New Zealand.
Matthew Mott, newly reappointed as head coach of Australia Women, will not come to take charge of Welsh Fire.
