Harlequins Women name team to host Worcester Warriors Women in the penultimate game of the regular Allianz Premier 15s season
Head Coach Gerard Mullen had named a much-changed side this week as his side look to secure a home semi-final, with ten changes to the starting line-up that travelled to Saracens Women last time out.
Captain Rachael Burford returns from injury to play for the first time since February, leading the side from inside centre alongside midfield partner Izzy Mayhew.
Versatile back Freya Aucken is named on the wing this week, with Jade Mullen earning her first start of the season in the fifteen jersey as Emily Scott takes up the reigns at fly-half, with Ellie Green ruled out this week through injury.
Meanwhile, Becky Wilson and Hannah Dennis are named in their first matchday squads, having joined the Club midway through the season.
Head Coach Gerard Mullen said: “We’re very much looking forward to the game this weekend. We haven’t played for three weeks, so naturally, we’re excited to get back out there.
“We have a much-changed team this week and Worcester are a competitive, well-drilled side. We know we’re going to have to execute our processes to get the job done.
“Worcester are a team that like to move the ball, so we know we’ll have to front up defensively to take a result away from this weekend.”
