Head Coach Gerard Mullen makes several changes to Harlequins Women side to face Sale Sharks Women in the Allianz Premier 15s

Harlequins Women Head Coach Gerard Mullen has named a new-look side to face Sale Sharks Women in the Allianz Premier 15s this weekend, as Tove Viksten, Elle Bloor, Alice Sheffield and Alex Eddie all make their first starts of the season, with Hannah Duffy making her Quins debut in the front-row.

A refreshed back line sees Scotland fullback Chloe Rollie move onto the wing, with Grand Slam winner Emily Scott at fullback and Ellie Green starting at fly-half.

USA international Kristine Sommer is named in her first matchday squad since returning to the Club earlier in the season, with front row Sheree Cooper, on a dual registration from Richmond RFC, returning to the Club amongst the Game Changers.

Ahead of the clash with Sale, Mullen said: “With the international players away this weekend, it’s a really great opportunity for other members of the squad to get some game time and step up, so I’m really excited to see how they get on.

With the game being live-streamed and available across the Club’s social media channels, Mullen said: “The previous games that have been streamed have been fantastic spectacles, and the game is really growing. I definitely think it will be an exciting game, and hopefully we can play some entertaining rugby for the fans at home.”
