This weekend, Wasps FC Ladies will travel to Darlington to face DMP Sharks in the first game of the decade. Round 10 saw the team suffer a loss to Gloucester Hartpury in a closely contested game and they went into the new year in 5th place. Having convincingly beaten DMP Sharks in their last encounter, Wasps FC Ladies are hoping for a repeat performance and start the new year on a high.
Giselle Mather has named a strong side to travel North for round 11. Starting in the forwards, we see a strong pack, lead by Sarah Mitchelson in the back row, accompanied by Harriet Millar-Mills and Claire Molloy. Nora Baltruweit returns to the starting line up alongside Alex Powell at 4 and 5. Muir, Rico and West make up our front row.
Captain Kate Alder will lead the backs from 12 with Rowland on her outside. Dow, Mason and Derk make up your back three with the decision makers of MacDonald and Edwards at 9 and 10. And be sure to see some fire in the finish with the likes of Liz Crake and Dalena Dennison on the bench.
