RFL selects 24-player squad for women’s winter tour

This year England women will travel to Sydney to play in the Downer World Cup Nines and then travel to Papua New Guinea to play two tests against the PNG Orchids.

Sixteen players have been selected for the Downer World Cup Nines (18/19 October):

Dannielle Anderson, Caitlin Beevers, Leah Burke, Chantelle Crowl, Jodie Cunningham, Faye Gaskin, Kelsey Gentles, Amy Hardcastle, Shona Hoyle, Shannon Lacey, Rhiannion Marshall, Sinead Peach, Georgia Roche, Emily Rudge, Tara-Jane Stanley, Naomi Williams

The whole 24-strong squad will then travel to Papua New Guinea for the two tests against the Orchids on 9th and 16th November. The game on the 16th will be part of a double-header featuring Great Britain Lions v PNG Kumuls.
