Harlequins Ladies Co-Head Coaches Karen Findlay and Gary Street have announced their squad to play Bristol Bears at The Stoop on Saturday (kick-off: 17:30)
Following last week’s impressive start to the season with their 24-38 win at Gloucester-Hartpury, the side are delighted to be playing in front their home crowd, following the men’s match against Bath Rugby.
Abbie Scott makes a welcome return to the Second Row while there are also changes at scrum-half where Leanne Riley comes in for Lucy Packer, who enjoyed an excellent debut at Gloucester last week, and Tash Bradshaw plays on the right wing with Vicki Petersson moving to the left.
Findlay said: “It’s great to be back at The Stoop and we are going out with the intention of giving the home crowd something to shout about. It’s great that both teams are playing at Quins’ home ground and it is testimony to the Club’s one-club ethos that we are doing so.
“We had a good opening Tyrells Premiership game last week at Gloucester and the players really want to build on that. Some new faces really put their hands up last weekend and we can’t wait to see who does the same this week.”
