As a result of injury to three significant squad members Phil Neville has called up Manchester City duo Georgia Stanway and Abbie McManus as well as Rachel Daly from Houston Dash to join the squad for the SheBelieves Cup.
Captain Steph Houghton has an ankle injury, Jordan Nobbs knee problem and Karen Carney also an ankle injury, as a result they will all miss out on the SheBelieves Cup competition in the USA. Lucy Bronze will take the Captain’s armband.
Leah Williamson had been travelling with the squad to gain non-playing experience of the big tournament occasion but she also is injured and Manchester City’s under-10 goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck will take her place.
