Valkyries sign Wales international scrum-half Sian Moore

Worcester Valkyries have bolstered their squad by signing Wales international scrum-half Sian Moore.

The experienced number nine joins from Bristol Ladies Rugby, having recently completed a rest period following the Women’s Rugby World Cup in Ireland.

The 29-year-old has 17 international caps to her name and brings vast experience at club level from her time at both Welsh outfit the Dragons and also Bristol.

Valkyries Director of Rugby Roy Davies said: “I’m really excited to bring Sian to the Valkyries off the back of a World Cup where she performed so strongly.

“She has excellent game management and her leadership skills will help bring the best out of our young group of players.”

Moore added: “I’ve been really impressed with the facilities and coaching at Valkyries, and feel that this is a great environment in which to continue developing my game.

“I’m looking forward to pulling on the shirt for the first time and running out at Sixways.”
