On Sunday in the Women’s Super League Bradford Bulls Women hosted Thatto Heath St Helens Ladies and the home side dominated throughout to earn a 40-10 victory.

Bradford’s Amy Hardcastle scored twice, with further tries for Charlotte Booth, Charlene Henegan, Beth Sutcliffe, Lois Forsell and Claire Garner. Garner also added six goals.

In the Women’s Championship Barrow hosted Wigan St Patricks and it was the travelling side who took the spoils with an impressive 56-0 win. Wigan’s Rachel Porter, Megan Dickinson and Holly Speakman all scored two tries each, with further tries from Kerrie Ann Smith, Gillian Aspin, Kelsey Armistead, Emma Dwyer, Armani Sharrock and Joenie Aspin. Charlotte Foley added four goals.

Meanwhile Wakefield Trinity and Oulton Raidettes played out a 18-18 draw.

Wakefield opened the scoring on just 3 minutes through Dani Rose (unconverted) but Oulton hit back shortly afterwards through Vanessa Harriman and the conversion from Frankie Anderson put their noses in front but before half time both Dani Rose and Phillippa Lockhart scored unconverted tries for Wakefield putting them back in the driving seat and making the half time score 12-6.

Immediately after half time Oulton regained the lead through Frankie Townend and Danielle Anderson with Townend converting both. 12-18

Oulton’s Vicki Pinks picked up a yellow card and Wakefield’s Yasmin Copeland crossed the white-wash  and Nicole Austin-Dyson held her nerve to convert and level the scores. Final score  18-18
