Former Bristol City Football Club Academy and Community Director Amy Kington has been tasked with leading a transformational change programme at Yeovil Town Ladies Football Club that will involve working closely with the board and senior leaders to measure, evaluate and rethink to reach a higher level of strategic execution.

Steve Allinson Club Chairman said; “We’re delighted to welcome Amy to YTLFC. We are an ambitious club committed to developing a sustainable and innovative business model that adapts, innovates and envisions the future in women’s football. We are working hard to create economic opportunities and leverage resources that will enable our players to compete at the highest level and ensure that our fans are able to enjoy a wonderful match day experience.”

The Club’s General Manager Trevor Jenkins commented: “Our club is ever changing and evolving and at this vital time in our club’s development, Amy will be crucial to its future success. Both Amy and I aim to work closely together to ensure we develop further all of the good things which we do. With our aim to remain as a top tier women’s football club, this will  undoubtedly throw some challenges at us, however, everyone is determined to work very hard together and I am excited to see what the future holds.”

Amy has an extensive network within the sport, business and education sector and is confident that this will help both on and off the field. With a background in elite level sport and a previous role at The Football Association, Amy will be an instrumental part in moving the club forward.
