In the second round of the Womens Rugby League this weekend two matches took place, the first one saw Castleford Tigers welcome Wigan St Patricks and the home side emerged with a 26-18 win. Castleford’s Kelsey Gentles led the way with a hat-rick of tries and there were further tries from Jasmine Cudjoe and Ellie Lamb. Katie Hepworth was on target with three goals.
In the other game of the weekend Stanningley Ladies hosted Oulton Raidettes and it was once again the home side who took the spoils with a 32-18 win.
