Davison will be hoping to continue her good run of form this season which has seen her finish 2nd and 4th in the two Pentathlon GB National Youth Ranking Competitions before coming 3rd at the GB Youth International in Solihull earlier this month.

In addition to these competitions, the 18 year-old competed in the riding discipline at both of Pentathlon GB’s National Ranking Competitions (Senior & Junior) making her eligible for Junior selection in 2017.

Davison will be joined at the event by 20 year-old Georgia Pipes and 19 year-old Charlie Follett in a young Pentathlon GB team. Both athletes have previous experience of competing in the Swiss capital though with Pipes finishing 12th at the competition in 2015 and Follett 13th on her own senior debut 12 months ago.

Pipes and Follett, who are currently ranked 7th and 8th respectively in the UK, both train at Pentathlon GB’s National Training Centre at the University of Bath and will be making their second international appearances of the year having already competed at the Hungarian Indoor Competition in January.

Pentathlon GB athletes have a tremendous track record at the competition with 6 medals in 4 years since the event was rebranded and moved to the Swiss capital in 2013. This year’s selected trio will hope they can continue the trend in 2017.

The provisional schedule (GMT) for the Swiss Women International on Saturday 25th March is as follows:
