Yeovil Town Ladies to host Arsenal in reversed fixture

  • +1

Yeovil Town Ladies FC are thrilled to announce that the fixture on Sunday 7th May v Arsenal has been reversed, meaning that Yeovil will now host the current Women’s FA Cup Champions and previous WSL1 winners in Somerset.

The match will be played at the Viridor Stadium, home of Taunton Town FC. With the likes of Alex Scott, Kim Little & Jordan Nobbs, this will be a fantastic game not to be missed.

The purpose of the Spring Series competition is to bridge the gap from the seasons, while the FA WSL transitions from a summer league to a more traditional winter league. Each club will play each other once as a home or an away fixture with a trophy being awarded to the winners of both divisions. The competition will end in June, enabling international players to compete at the 2017 Euro’s this summer.

Tickets for the opening Spring Series match v Liverpool on 23rd April are on sale now. Click here to book. Further games will be added to the ticket site in due course.
