The Lancashire Cricket Board has announced the dates of this year’s ECB Kwik Cricket County Finals commencing with the Girls Kwick Crick County  Finals today.

Girls Kwik Cricket County Finals Day

  • Date: Tuesday 05 July 2016
  • Venue: Northern CC, Moor Park, Elm Avenue, Crosby, Liverpool, Merseyside, L23 2SX
  • Time: 10:00 – 16:00
  • 32 schools competing with 27 local authorities represented
  • Over 350 school children taking part

Year 6 Kwik Cricket County Finals Day

  • Date: Thursday 07 July 2016
  • Venue: Northern CC, Moor Park, Elm Avenue, Crosby, Liverpool, Merseyside, L23 2SX
  • Time: 10:00 – 16:00
  • 32 schools competing with 27 local authorities represented
  • Over 350 school children taking part

Year 5 Mixed Kwik Cricket County Finals Day

  • Date: Tuesday 12 July 2016
  • Venue: Blackpool CC, Stanley Park, Barlow Crescent, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY3 9EQ
  • Time: 10:00 – 16:00
  • 20 plus schools competing with 20 plus local authorities represented
  • Over 200 school children taking part

Year 4 Mixed Kwik Cricket County Finals Day

  • Date: Thursday 14 July 2016
  • Venue: Blackpool CC, Stanley Park, Barlow Crescent, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY3 9EQ
  • Time: 10:00 – 16:00
  • 20 plus schools competing with 20 plus local authorities represented
  • Over 200 school children taking part

ECB Kwik Cricket aims to provide children of all levels of ability and experience with an opportunity to regularly participate in a fun, introduction to cricket and to encourage fair play by all. The format is suitable for all ages but is mostly suitable for players under the age of 11.

The main Kwik Cricket Competition is open to State Primary and Middle Schools throughout England and Wales. The Competition is open to Independent Schools at the discretion of the County Cricket Board. There are school competitions for Year 6, Girls, Year 5 or Year 4.

Each year local authorities run their borough schools competitions with winners of those qualifying for the county finals. Schools that win our county final go on to represent Lancashire at regional / national competitions.
