Chelsea will meet Arsenal in the SSE Women’s FA Cup Final

  • +1

Chelsea beat Manchester City Women with an extra time goal from Fran Kirby and will defend their title at Wembley on 14th May in the Cup  Final.  They will face 13 times winners Arsenal who put Sunderland to the sword with a 7-0 victory this afternoon.

City looked to be heading to the final after Jane Ross had given them the lead only for a free kick from Ji So-Yun bringing Chelsea giving Chelsea a life-line and sending the game into extra time.

To the joy of all the Chelsea fans it was the girls in blue who broke the deadlock, when the irrepressible Fran Kirby stole the headlines and the game, with her last minute goal.  So Chelsea march onto Wembley and will face the resurgent Arsenal.
