As well as watching a highly anticipated match this Sunday at Huish Park, there’s even more reason to come and support Yeovil Town Ladies this weekend, with news of the club wearing their new away kit for the first time.
Huish Park welcomes Sunderland AFC Ladies from FA Women’s Super League One and they will make the 700 mile round trip for the last 16 of the SSE FA Women’s Cup.
Ellie Curson, who will lead her team out of the tunnel for the first time as captain at Huish Park, will be dressed in the clubs new away kit, supplied by continuing kit supplier O’Neills.
The match will bring excitement and also a chance to remember some history, as Yeovil welcomes a team who were once on the end of a giant killing, when in 1949, Southern League mens club Yeovil Town, overturned the ‘Bank of England’ club Sunderland, which has been labelled as one of the biggest cup upsets.
If you haven’t booked tickets for the game yet, you can do so by clicking here. 2016 season tickets are still available, which allow entry to ALL home games. Alternatively, you can pay cash on turnstiles, with ticket prices for the game at £5.00 adults / £2.50 concessions.
The game kicks off at 2.00pm, with turnstiles open from 12.30pm.
