The exciting international, has been on the radar of manager Jamie Sherwood for some time and it was only recently, that Sherwood managed to secure Primus in his squad.

Primus, who can play in a range of attacking positions, will give Yeovil the added threat in front of goal, which will hopefully be the difference this season, as the green and whites search for promotion and hope to finish in one of the top two positions.

With preparation now in full flow for Yeovil’s first fixture against either Bradford or Huddersfield in SSE FA Womens Cup action on 7th February, Primus will be keen to make an immediate impact. However, first up for Primus is Norway, as she joins up with her England team on 26th January for international action.

When speaking to a club spokesperson, Primus said “I can’t wait to get started with the new season. I’m certain that Yeovil will help grow and develop me to become a better player. I’m relishing the opportunity to play first team football and looking forward to helping the team push for promotion.”

“I’m grateful for my time at Chelsea but now I’m excited to start a new chapter and looking forward to a new challenge.”

“I’m extremely thankful to the staff and players for making me feel so welcome, it’s really helped me to settle and find my feet.”

“It wasn’t difficult putting pen to paper as immediately I felt God’s peace about making the decision when meeting with Jamie and Michelle. Despite not coming to an agreement last season, I feel that this is God’s perfect timing and as one door closes another one opens. I’m extremely optimistic about this season and know that as a team we are hungry to push for promotion.”

Manager Jamie Sherwood commented “I have been aware of Atlanta and her talent for a number of years and have watched her progress with great interest. I initially tried to sign Atlanta on loan last season but to no avail, so to sign Atlanta permanently I feel is very exciting.”

“Atlanta’s maturity and character has allowed her to quickly settle into the group and she is already showing her talent and ability in training.”

“Atlanta joins our club with a huge winning mentality after being a part of the FA Cup winning squad and the whole Chelsea progression over the past 3 years.”

“I feel this is another exciting signing and I am looking forward to seeing Atlanta progress further at Yeovil Town.”
